Pumpkin Carving Class

Amaze your friends with a new-found talent; Pumpkin Carving. Learn to carve artificial pumpkins and have the coolest Jack-O-Lantern on the block. It's incredibly easy once you learn the steps.

Choose your artificial pumpkin carefully. All of my advanced patterns require larger pumpkins. Please bring your selected pumpkin, pumpkin carving tool and a piercing tool (such as that made by Making Memories) and I'll provide the patterns. If you plan to carve an intermediate or advanced pattern, I highly recommend that you bring a hot knife, such as the one made by Creative Versa-Tool. Your hands will thank you for it.

All experience levels are invited, however, because of the tools we will be using, this class is not recommended for children under 12 years old.

Class Fee: $13
Locations: Michael's, Escondido
Dates: October 8th, 1 - 3:30pm

Paper Bag Gift Album

A Paper Bag Gift Album is a great way to share your favorite photos. It’s cute, it’s affordable and it’s easy to repeat once you learn the process. And with all the embellishments available, each album you make will be unique.

I intend to pull out the big guns with this adorable little album. You will use the Sizzix/Ellison die cut system, distressing inks, Crop-A-Dile, and of course, a few hand-altered die cuts to complete the project. All experience levels are invited to participate.

Make sure you check the “Class Supply List” link for a list of what you need to bring with you to this class.

In addition to decoupage, we will also cover distressing techniques, methods for mounting ribbons and embellishments to decoupaged surfaces, and eyelet setting using the newest (and my current favorite) tool; the Crop-A-Dile.
