Scrapbook Layouts - The Next Step

If you are ready to create some WOW scrapbook pages, this class will get you started. Learn how to use embellishments such as ribbons, eyelets, and die cuts, how and when to distress and how to choose your colors to get the best layouts you can create.

You will also get some hands on experience using some of the coolest craft tools on the market. If you've ever wanted to try before you buy, here's the perfect opportunity to find out if you enjoy using the Xyron adhesive system, Sizzix die cutting system, Coluzzle templates, Crop-A-Dile eyelet punch/set tool and the Making Memories Tag Maker (just to name a few).

The intent is not to change your style of scrapbooking, but instead, to enhance it. Bring your paper, adhesives, scrapbooking supplies and photos and lets get some pages done.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

Let’s see now, holiday parties, white elephant gift exchanges, teachers, grandparents, the list just goes on! Why not learn to make your own hand-crafted Christmas Tree Ornaments and take care of some of the special people on your gift list?

In the Christmas Ornament class, you will learn to make three different ornament designs; a glass ornament covered with scrapbook paper, (in my sample, I used a replica newsprint and a photocopy of my son), a die-cut wooden tag ornament covered with lovely Christmas-style paper, and an origami folded box ornament, which can also be filled with something sweet as an extra treat.

Please bring with you a 12” paper trimmer, scissors, Mod Podge, a clear glass ornament, your favorite yarn or fiber, your choice of pattern paper and two sheets of 12x12” cardstock. I recommend that you select 2-sided paper since both sides will be visible in some portion of the origami box. You may also want to bring photos to further personalize your ornaments. The remaining supplies will be provided for you.

Mini Gift Album

A Paper Bag Gift Album is a great way to share your favorite photos. It’s cute, it’s affordable and it’s easy to repeat once you learn the process. And with all the embellishments available, each album you make will be unique.

I intend to pull out the big guns with this adorable little album. You will use the Sizzix/Ellison die cut system, distressing inks, Crop-A-Dile, and of course, a few hand-altered die cuts to complete the project. All experience levels are invited to participate.
